School Readiness

Little Steps Today. A More Confident Start at School.

Starting preschool is about much more than recognising letters and numbers. Children also need opportunities to practise communication, play, group participation, emotional regulation, and everyday independence. Our School Readiness Program helps children aged 3–6 years prepare for the transition to preschool and other structured learning environments.

Who Can Benefit?

This program may be helpful for children who:
  • Find it difficult to follow group instructions.
  • Need support with attention, transitions, or participation.
  • Experience behavioural or sensory-related challenges.
  • Need more practice with social interaction and shared play.
  • Require support with early learning or self-care routines.

Is Your Child Ready for Preschool?

Let’s understand your child’s current strengths and identify the skills that may help make the transition smoother.

School readiness is not about expecting every child to master every skill before admission. It is about identifying useful supports and helping each child participate as confidently as possible.
